Art school, where small, timid freshman enter the art and design world as wide-eyed novices who don't know any better and then spend 4 years creating, inventing, and designing whatever it is their professor wants. With fast deadlines, large amounts of work, and serious attention to detail needed, art school really can be a lot to deal with. Fortunately for me, I am not alone in this struggle. Sometimes the stress and failures that come with art school create the strongest bonds, and here at the NMU School of Art and Design, I know I made a bunch of friends who know all to well what art school is really about.
