I met Steph and her sister Natalie my first night at Northern. They were coming to visit my roommates and I introduced myself to them as the "new roommate." A couple days later, Steph and I ended up having a class together so we started hanging out a lot then.
Steph reminded me a lot of my sister Emily when I first met her. She was very friendly and always wanted to hang out, which I appreciated a lot being new there. I would watch the way she interacted with Natalie and I thought it was crazy how similar they were to my sisters at times.
There were a few times where the Steph, Natalie, Zaenger, and I road tripped down state to Ann Arbor. It was always cool to show them my hometown and all the places I grew up around.
Steph, you have been there for me during my best times (and definitely worst,) at Northern. Thank you for being there and always talking me through hard times, it meant a lot to me and still does. I know we're both done with art school, (well almost,) but you'll always be my art buddy.
